History

Detavi Co Ltd was set up in 1994 as a family business dealing in wholesale of Belarus-produced confectionaries.

In 1995 Detavi Co Ltd concluded a distribution agreement with the company Kraft Jacobs Sushard Lietuva — a subdivision of Kraft Foods Inc. In accordance with that agreement Detavi became an official distributor of candies and chocolate bars of “Kraft Jacobs Sushard” and “Karuna” brands in the territory of Belarus.

In 1997 due to the references provided by the Lithuanian subdivision a distribution agreement was concluded with the company Kraft Jacobs Sushard Polska. As a result, wafer sticks “Prince Polo” and processed cheese “Kraft” started to be delivered to the Belarusian market.

By 2000 the company had already been quite well-established, and by that time it had been cooperating with producers and exporters of food products from Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, and other countries.

Since 2001 Detavi Co Ltd has been supplying the Belarusian market with nuts, dried fruits, and edible seeds. Our company was the first to arrange regular deliveries of the above mentioned goods to retailers.

In 2002 first contracts for the delivery of nuts and dried fruits were concluded with processing enterprises in confectionary and bakery.

In 2004 Detavi Co Ltd registered its own trademark “Bely Pelican” (“White Pelican”) and launched under that trademark production of prepacked products of nuts, dried fruits, and sugared fruits.

Today Detavi Co Ltd represents more than 30 trademarks in the Belarusian market, with “Arimex”, “Mihaella”, “Bely Pelikan”, “Vitella” being just a few of them. Detavi Co Ltd deals with regular partners in 20 countries on three continents.

Detavi Co Ltd has 25 branches in all parts of Belarus, 180 employees, possesses an automated warehouse complex, the total area of which is 3000sq.m, has at its disposal a car fleet of 25 motor vehicles for delivering goods, has its own production facilities for dried fruits and nuts processing.

The position of Detavi Co Ltd in the Belarusian market is constantly strengthening.
